Post on home page where Dabo talks about Spurrier got me to thinking on who I would want to replace Les when the time comes and I have to admit while he may be a bit quirky I think we would be damn lucky to have him.

After this year, he will have had 5 straight seasons of winning at least 10 wins and has the Clemson program in the mix.

I know that everyone will throw out names that are unrealistic, but I think he would be an outstanding hire.

Before anyone jumps down my throat, I'm not saying Les is leaving anytime soon and I know that timing is everything, but wanted to get the board's opinion on Dabo.

Dabo is Alabama's first choice when Saban calls it quits.

The same dabo that lest West Va hang 70 on him?

Just kidding. I think he's a great coach and he loves his kids and program. Clemsons defense has gotten better every year under venables and it doesn't look like they missed a beat offensivley.

Dabo + Steele!

Just think how bad we could lose our bowl games every year!

Probably need a mid-season board for coaches changes with everything happening this week

I think he's a bit quirky at times as well, but so is Les sometimes. Dabo has done a pretty good job at Clemson in my opinion and when the time comes, I wouldn't mind if he was in the conversation for who would be the new LSU coach.

I would think the majority of fans would want Jimbo whenever that time comes.

I would think Cam gets the job to keep the staff that we have in place.

Cam has QBs lined up for the next 8 years. And Steele and O seem to be killing it recruiting for D.

No way on God's green earth does Cam get job. He has had zero success as a head ball coach. Some are meant to be coordinators and some are meant to be head coaches. Cam falls in the former category.

He is a flake.
A big step down from Les as the face of the program.

I doubt that. They'll aim higher.

I don't want Dabo...at all.

nope. In my mind he's a goofball. But in a much less likeable way than Miles. I can't argue with his success, but I don't think I'd want him at LSU.
