Podcast

Fitt
UCLA over UVA
LSU over Rice
Clemson over L'ville
Florida over FSU
Miami over DBU
Vandy over Illinois
A&M over TCU
OK St over Oregon

Rogers & Etheridge(weirdly agree on all 24 picks)

UCLA over USC
LSU over Houston
L'ville over ASU
Florida over FSU
Miami over Ore State
Vandy over Illinois
A&M over TCU
Mo State over Arky

KR and Mark like LSU easy and Fitt kind of liked UNCW if they could keep it close.

Basically Fitt said UNCW bullpen would have the edge over LSU but ultimately didnt think UNCW's starters could keep it close.

He was trying to poke holes in the top seeds where as the others were picking alot of chalk.

The all liked Florida to win it all. Were also high on Vandy and L'ville from our side of the bracket.

Fitt's is more realistic.

The chances of 6 of the 8 national seed making it to Omaha...are extremely low.

Also,
Florida is the flavor of the week because of winning the conference tourney, happens every year. They might not make it out of their own regional. Although, I think they can get past that point.

I was actually going in thinking they would like NC St over TCU and expected maybe a Houston over LSU pick.

They liked NC State the least out of all 7 ACC squads. Fitt waffled on picking ND over Illinois.

They all went against Arky making it to Omaha but wouldnt be surprised if they did.

As well as FSU losing their regional.
---------------------------------------------------------

As far as bubble teams related to the SEC. They thought UK should of been in the first four out and definetly ahead of Mizzou. Mainly on their strength of their series wins vs UF and LSU.

Fitt had all 64 teams and gave the committee a B+ overall.

The main gripe from them seemed to be Lake Elsinore getting a host. They liked Oregon State over them and CofC as well.

Interesting they said Fullerton deserved a host and then said they are the 4th most likely winner in their own regional even against 30-27 Pepperdine.

agree..heck even Fitt picked us to Omaha last yr, we were hot and didnt get out of the regional. Of course neither did the Gaytors.

Fitt also was high on CofC, Oregon and DBU.

Kendall's upset lean was Cal to get out of Coll Station.

Etheridge leaned towards Radford and acknowledged his picks were too chalky.

The Gators are a real threat to go a very long way, IMO.

Their pitching is very very good. The 6'7" kid that throws 97-99 is a monster. Their bullpen is full of sub 1.5 era guys with nasty breaking balls that are extremely hard to hit consistently...as we found out in Hoover.

Except Clemson to CWS instead of going all Clemson

I'm not saying they aren't good, I can easily see them going to the CWS. What I'm saying is all these guys are tabbing them as the most realistic option to win it all, and I don't see it.

You can set your watches by this. Death, taxes and a Mike Martin meltdown at home.

I hear you bro. To me, winning the NC in Div 1 baseball is the hardest championship to win of all.

So you're saying that Alden Cartwright doesn't sit at 91-93 mph?

Yeah and they have a couple dangerous teams in their regional again.

They are very inconsistent this year.
