I'll check my emails for any insider info and I'll post them here, but only on TD Premier boards.

Kendall Rogers is really high on him since seeing him in the fall.

He had an amazing fall. So I can understand that.

But Rogers (and moreso Fitt) go for the "I've just seen player X and he's the best I've every seen" far too often. See Fitt's thoughts on Richie Martin after he visited UF last year.

Stevenson, but with a less weird swing.

Last year D1 had LSU ranked #1 most of the season and then when it ended for LSU, KR tweeted that LSU was lucky to get as far as it did. The experts' picks are no less emotional than us fans.

A&M is way overrated this year. They beat easy teams last year (LSU was the only ranked team they faced in a weekend series) and kept moving up in rankings. Their SOS was worse than ours. So now they're starting out way too high when no way some of the pitchers do what they did to start the season. Their schedule, like ours, sees Florida and Vandy. They won't win the west.

Very fast. Made to play center field and while he may not start there on February, should be there by the end of the year. Line drive, contact hitter. Bregman but less power; gaps not HRs.

I realize this guy is supposed to be like zOPMG best pitcher ever. He had a 3.81 ERA last season. Lange a 1.97.

It really has to do with how much Puk turned it on at the end of the year. He was very pedestrian to start last year. Then he got into some off the field trouble, re-focused and was lights out to end the season.

He's a lefty that throws in the mid to upper 90s and is showing signs of putting it all together.

It's not really a bad or surprising choice.

Probably expected to get better run support also. Which would lead to a better won/loss record.
