D. Williams gives comfort to our biggest offensive fear, an injury to Guice.

I was very impressed with the way Dwill looked like last night. he is a whole new player out there. he is hitting the hole so much faster than ever before.

we all know he is a step down from Guice but every rb in the sec not named Chubb is a huge step down.

also loved the way Clyde Edwards-Helaire looked in mop up duty.

hats off the work Dwill put in this off season.

He really did put in work and looked quick for he first time in his career. He is a legitimate backup to Guice. I'm pleased!

yep. making people miss at the LOS and just attacking the hole with quickness were things we hadn't seen from him.
before this year he was a North and South runner that didn't really run behind his pads but now he looks like a totally different player. I love seeing these lsu players bust their arse to reinvent themselves in the off season

I still have that fear. Guice is like Fournette, that rare talent that can't be stopped.

we all know we don't have another Guice on the team but if DWill can continue to run like that tgen the gap between Guice and Dwill is a lot smaller than we thought before last night. that my only point.

If the O-line holds up, no problem. But you have to admit there's a talent gap between Guice and Williams.

D. Will isn't Guice and if Guice goes down, he won't be able to fill his shoes entirely. But he did run well last night and I think the combo of him and CEH would be fine.

there is a gap between Guice and every rb in cfb. my point was that the gap isnt anywhere near as big as we thought. if Dwill runs like last night then he could be the feature back at most cfb programs.

Keyword is backup. If they have to depend on him as a starter it will be trouble. The dude has no explosion at all.

is the gap bigger or smaller after last night?

you do realize that Dwill was the best player on the field last night right?
