My dad and I are making our first trip to Omaha. Is it better to buy tickets beforehand, or wait to buy them at the stadium? Is it easy to get tickets once we get there?

Always been easy for me to get tickets at the stadium for a reasonable price. I would wait.

Depends on what you're looking for. If you just like to sit in the outfield, wait until you get here. There's grocery stores around here that sell individual or 10-pack outfield tickets for like $10 a piece.

The thing to remember about CWS tickets is the vast majority of tickets are in the hands of Omaha locals... The supply online is usually fairly low which is why the prices online can get high (especially for LSU games)

Get a ticket outside... And then if worst comes to worst use a GA ticket and you're in for $10 and will be able to move to a better seat by the 4th or 5th inning anyway.

ETA: other Tiger fans in Omaha usually look out for each other, too... Ask around at Barretts

ETA: the flash seats app like above is also sweet... Just refresh every 30 mins on the day of and you can snag a good deal

I literally bought tickets last year for VERY cheap 5 minutes before the 1st pitch.

Is Barrett's the hot spot for LSU fans?

I wish someone would put an Omaha guide together for us newbies.

You can also get your general admission ticket upgraded for fave value at the box office in the morning... Its just random luck depending on how many they have that day

I have not had the pleasure of going to Omaha, but every time LSU has been, Barrett's was a very popular subject on this site.

In fact, I think Mrs Barrett signed up and posted here for a bit!

I went to Barrett's in 2015 on that Saturday and it was packed with LSU fans, including some LSU players. Good times and looking forward to being back in Omaha this weekend and next week.
