Half a hundred by half” was what I nicknamed the game

Never seen a team just get absolutely waxed like that on a huge stage.

That 2019 squad was just absurd.

I mean they very obviously let their foot off of the gas

LSU not only had the best team in history. They also had a very classy team.

Never will be another team like it baw.

I was there. My favorite part has to be my dad screaming at us to go for 2, to hit 50 at halftime. He's not even an LSU fan, but he was with me. I got to see 3 games in person that year: Florida, Georgia, and Oklahoma. They were all awesome.

That game was a straight up beat down. I thought the game with Virginia Tech in 2007 was an embarrassment for them but that Oklahoma game was just domination.

The game was over halfway through the second quarter. Like another poster said, we could’ve scored more than 100 if we wanted to.

I watched it again a few nights ago. I still like Jefferson counting the touchdowns after he scores.

After the game, we went to eat. A table full of OU fans sits next to us. The waitress asked the table if they enjoyed the game. I thought they were going to throw up.

I remember the halftime report and the commentators were basically stunned into silence. OU was not a bad team and they were absolutely demolished.

The #1 thing I remember from that game is this:

I love that moment at halftime when the announcer says "What were watching is historic. And that's not a strong enough word."

The most startling thing though is learning that Lincoln Riley hired that same DC as his new DC at USC.

We could have scored in triple digits had we not called the dogs off.

I thought we were going to score 100 pts in that game

I was there sitting behind Oklahoma bench and they knew LSU could have scored 100 if they wanted to.

We were in Pittsburgh visiting our granddaughters. Every time we scored {which was A LOT}, and I yelled, my 4 year old granddaughter would ask - did LSU score another touchdown, G-Paw? That made the game even more enjoyable. Great times for sure.
