on score board - someone asked about crowd noise but its locked before any answer given really.

its interesting because i went to every game for over a decade, but haven't been in a few years. this was my first game back after a hiatus.

the crowd noise is definitely noticeably louder than ive ever heard it before. in fact, most of the game i could not hear the announcer or the refs announcing the penalty. a flag would be thrown and unless the penalty was obvious - was completely oblivious to what the call was.

i used to be in tigerband. i learned from that experience that the volume on the field is way more loud than it sounds in the stands (and it sounds loud in the stands). i cant imagine how loud it was for the rebels today.

side node: these refs from tonights game should be given tabasco sauce enemas.

quote:

On playing at LSU: "I just think we didn't make the plays when we had to. It's a crazy atmosphere. This is the craziest place I've played. Actually, it (the noise) did factor (into third-down plays). Every SEC stadium, that's (noise) going to be a factor on third down.''

On Texas A&M's Kyle Field compared to Tiger Stadium: "No comparison. No comparison (LSU is better).''
