2 fouls in 2 minutes.

Brick after brick.

How do you make CV and BS understand that you just can't foul so early?

Craig struggled tremendously for the last month or so. Kinda hard to explain.

Maybe the coach should have some set offensive plays called. Not constantly jus pass pass pass and throw up a 15ft. jump shot or a 3 when shot click running out. Might jus help with players being out of position....

This is the most glaring deficiency of them all. There is absolutely no fluidity in Jones' offensively philosophy. Jones doesn't place any of the players in a position to be successful.

Craig is 6'9 playing the 5, which is inexcusable and ridiculous. He is posting up against bigger and more athletic posts. He should have been protected with a more versatile post player. I've said this all season, Craig is more a 4, playing out of position all year!!

There are a lot of 6'9" centers in college basketball. We don't play Kentucky every game. He just isn't a good finisher around the basket. He doesn't get off the floor quickly and he can't walk on the floor without fouling. He is a good mid range shooter and has a nice jump hook though.

I love a motion offense, Pass, screen, circulate, cut, back door.

Ricky Blanton also gave a shite and played with some heart.
So did Redden, Williams and the rest of the crew. They never quit, thats how they made it as far as they did.

Unlike this group here

Exactly - I liked Craig's intensity but was never on the floor due to the foul trouble.

Fat Elbert is the piece who has made all of this other stuff not be able to fall into place. Who the hell is 7'1" and 290 and from Dallas, TX -- not like he's some Zimbabwe refugee out there -- and unable to take some control of a game? If he would just come around/Jones get him around, Victor could have played double-duty at the 4 primarily but also the 3. He has a nice 16 foot stroke. Bridgewater is a more viable center than Elbert. Kid is weak.

Granted I was there during this time but I see Victor like Big Baby with no Tyrus Thomas to protect him. Lord knows Ben won't play any help side defense. He needs to be protected by an athletic post that can defend.

There is no way Victor could play the 3. No way. What are you talking about?

If you committed to a slow pace, you could put Elbert in at center and move Victor to 4. You lose the fast break option, but if you stuck with this, I think a solid offense would come out. Victor as your primary inside option, Blakeney as the primary outside threat. You move the ball around a lot, until you get one of those guys the shot you want.

You play a zone to hide Robinson and Victor on defense, and hope you have enough length to harass the outside shooters. Sampson and Blakeney can do that.
