Per Ben Love on 104.5 interview. Case for Craig is that he chose to transfer closer to home to be near an ailing family member and not for playing time reasons.

We would essentially miss him for OOC play otherwise...this would be big to get the rotation started early next year and not put arse much stress on the other bigs.

This is actually pretty huge. It would be great to get the team chemistry going before conference play starts.

Do you think the SEC and NCAA will allow that for LSU considering some of the things we've seen recently

It's a hardship waiver and I think they are pretty confident they can get it together which will be huge, especially because we should have a much better OOC schedule next year.

Yeah, I lurked over on the Arizona boards when the transfer was announced. It was encouraging to see they were very bummed and penciled him in as a very good 3-year guy, which is exactly what LSU needs.
And Sean Miller of college basketball. he's well-known to go after the biggest freak athletes in AAU. if Miller thinks he's Arizona material, he should do very well at LSU.
