Is that good or bad news for Oregon?

This has been in the works for months. Probably the reason he was let go for talking to other programs instead of recruiting

i think he's a good recruiter though he seems to have friction with his fellow coworkers. i am assuming he will be a co-oc?

It's been in the talks, not so sure it was in the works. There was just a very recent opening with the WR coach leaving for UCLA.

Insider saying he's being vetted as we speak. I should say it's in the works.

The WR coach was in the car with Reaves when he got the DUII. It looks like he was asked to look around.

So Craig got fired while Juluke got reassigned and theyll both land on their feet, but all of those morally righteous NOLA coaches werent worried about Craig were they?

I mean I think it's telling that FSU, Auburn, and lSU didn't think he was OC material, but doesn't Taggert call the plays? If so just let Craig recruit

If he isn't checked out, he's a great recruiter.

It's Taggart's offense with Cristobal in charge of the running game.

Then I don't see the problem just slapping a CO-OC title on it. I'm sure Craig learned a lot under Fisher, but doubtful with les and gus

I don't think anyone knows the answer to this. He's never had that type of responsibility before. Seems like LSU and Auburn both hired him for his recruiting, not his coaching.

My fear is the bottom end of our recruiting class are the wide receivers. We got guys that need development.

It was kind of a mixed bag at LSU in terms of development. Dupre and Dural got worse while Chark and Gage got a lot better.

He was recruiting coordinator for a top 10 class that had to compete against SEC giant Alabama for almost every single signature. He ain't exactly poo.

Let's hope he has purged his memory of anything those two told him about running an offense.
