Great example of another dumb post. So Corbin's never been to Omaha with his team? Fire, Aim, Ready!

Let me go out on a limb and say you don't coach baseball for a living or probably any other sport.

And probably never played and may not have even watched until LSU reached Omaha. Regardless, he is a tard.

Yeah, CPM strategically leaving 13 runners on base yesterday wasn't a good plan at all.

YOU BUNT THE RUNNER OVER TO 2ND!!!
Which is exactly what Rhymes was going to do until 2-0. Did you not see that? Are you really saying hit and run there was not part of a baseball plan?

The people saying this clearly know absolutely nothing about baseball.

Bingo.

No shame in that either, unless you start angry posts calling out the coach. Then it is pretty cringe-worthy.

I stated a fact, dumbfrick.

Corbin consistently has teams that talent-wise are more than capable of winning it all...and they ALWAYS fall just short of even GETTING to Omaha. FACT. The guy just doesn't seem to have what it takes.

You don't have to like it. But it is what it is.

Right, if you don't know what's going on it's fine. But just keep your mouth shut and try to talk about how bad our coach sucks.

this board is full of 20/20 hindsight coaches throughout the year. Love it.

Any fan who compares Vandy's baseball program to LSU's is just plain dumb. Corbin is an excellent coach and so is James Franklin, but put them both in Baton Rouge and they don't last 5 years if their results are the same. Expectations are a bit higher in BR.

Pretty sure he was referring to the FACT that Corbin and Vandy have been to the CWS on at least one occasion (2011 if I remember correctly).

You know something?

My bad. Mea culpa. I was mistaken. They did go in 2011.

The overall point, however, stands. Corbin's teams (2011 notwithstanding) pretty consistently choke after having high expectations. This year, case in point.
