LSU has some serious issues in the lineup.

Wrong. The lineup is full of talent. It's the new hitting coach that the serious issues come from.

Maybe one day Paul will do some type of search for assistants.

Also, can we all agree that Russell Reynolds just isn't that good? The highlight of his career is going to end up being the doctored hat fiasco vs SLU.

They should be first out of the pen. NOT Russell Reynolds!!

How does that affect his in game decisions to not pinch run for Jordan and not bringing in your best relievers ? Reynolds hasn't proven anything! He could have used Bain, Beck, and Gilbert for an inning each and gotten the win. CPM continues to not make good in game decisions. The best move I've seen him make all year was bunting Papeirski to move Jordan over . He needs to go!!

Where was any of that mentioned in the OP?

Yes....I know the season isn't over and things could improve. But I just don't see it. LSU will host a subregional and if they survive that then will probably be on the road in a super regional. And I don't see LSU surviving that.

I might get called out for this but I'm slowly getting to the point where supers at home aren't as exciting as they used to be. Even if we win, you know deep down there's no shot at making a run in Omaha.

Spin it however you want, that was a bad loss to a bad Tulane team.
Stupid decisions by PM yet again. Freeman getting thrown out stealing in the 1st before you can even get anything going.

Still no 3rd or 4th starter, Hess is not ready and Walker is lucky to get you through 5.

Desperate A&M coming in this weekend.

People are finally starting to wake up to it. To me he's always been a bad fit here, and I think he's a dill weed. Can't believe anyone thought Texas was going to hire him, such a grand lie.

In his postgame interview he said playing on Tuesday is tough because you just played on Sunday. He said that's the bad thing about playing Thursday.

Sounds like he's setting up his excuses for this coming weekend already.

If he truely gives them an "off" day, he can go find somewhere else to coach. There was no "off" day back in the day. Yeah, I know what the NCAA rule states but other top programs and coaches aren't doing that!

First of all you have no idea what is going on at other schools. Off day basically means it is up to the players to work out on their own. They can do whatever they want a coach just can't be present by rule. If a player wants to take cuts in the cage or workout on his own that's the players decision.

Does this guy even know that in the 90's and early 2000's, they played on Tuesday AND Wednesday between weekend series' and rolled almost everyone they played in midweek while staying at the top of the SEC?

Of course they know, they just don't want the sheep to know. It's a business, a product, the less you know about what is on the field today the better.

His excuses were lining up when we lost pitchers at the beginning of the year. It is never Paul's fault. He is a decent coach at a top notch program. Wish he would have left for the Texas job but as usual, LSU gets leveraged for more money.

I repeat .....I When your coach is soft ..... your team will be soft ............. not able to win the close ones ever, just don't have the go down and get another gear ability. win at all cost mentality is absent, always an excuse .. game after game..... season after season!!

We may as well stop bitching because there is 0 chance lsu fired the football, men's basketball, and baseball coach in the same school year.nor should anyone be excited about giving hiring power to ALLEVA for all 3 of our major sports.
