CPM has proven me wrong!...again

I was ragging on CPM. knee jerk i know, i am too emo about LSU. He has weathered the storm and raised these guys into an LSU we are used too. Having said that please let the Romero experiment end. I'd rather see a strong defense.

Id rather a bat than a strong defense. You need to score runs to win games and you don't score runs by playing better defense.
With that said, with Romero cooling off like he has, I'd prefer to see pap in this game.

Sometimes you go in a slump. The only way to get out of it is to see pitches and get at bats. Leave him in. He's sure of he learned it with his play all year save the last two games. I'll take the body of work over a game or two.

One thing this team has done that that has surprised me is hit the best of the best pitching all year. That is a tremendous accomplishment for these young hitters. Big props to Canny!

He's consistent in all three.

Careful, dude. They'll laugh you right off this board for telling the truth. I've already seen a couple of nimrods take shots at you.
Mainieri only has LSU at or near the top of the toughest baseball conference in the country at the end of every season, but, yeah, he's not one of the best coaches in college baseball. I swear there are some people on this board who shouldn't be allowed near a keyboard every again.
