Watching the last 2 LSU games in jerry jones amusement park either a.) spoiled me or b.) further proved how shitty our scoreboards are. Let's go LSU, get with it.

I agree let 's hang 60 yard scoreboards from the ceiling..... O wait.
Btw the conesssion stand speeds and quality impressed me, and I would pay those prices for that every week.

I enjoyed the place but it had some draw backs. The sound system was not good. Hard to hear the band in there. All I could find was Miller beer (yes this one really bothered me). Lastly when we entered the stadium we accidentally walked into the wrong side cause we were with friends sitting in different areas. Our seats were on the second deck. We kept asking ushers how to get there and everyone said we had to go up to the fourth deck to get down to the second. At first I thought they were pulling our leg but we asked a couple ushers and they all gave the same directions.

Even the parking at Jerry World was awesome. ($30<$40) Just sayin'. I was also surprised at how fast we were able to get out on the interstate.

Concessions: Other than the jambalaya, JW concessions have better quality food than at TS. Corndogs, anyone?

Bathrooms: not even close. I wouldn't even consider a dump in TS.

Lighting & sound system.: JW

But look last night was beautiful.... Full moon perfect temperature. I wouldn't trade that for anything in the world.

Wait, you mean to tell me that a billion dollar NFL stadium for one of the most storied teams in professional sports that was just built in the last few years has better amenities than TS?

Yeah. I'm shocked by this revelation too.

I'm sorry. What I meant to say was that a stadium that has had close to 100 years to perfect their atmosphere has chosen the cheap route, but carry on.

From the same fanbase that spends countless hours on this board complaining about ticket prices, parking fees, etc. now wants to find a way to justify complaints about TS because it doesn't equal the billion dollar stadium in the NFL? You really can't make this stuff up.

There are things that absolutely need to be changed about TS to bring it up to date. And that will come with a lofty price tag and some time. And I think having those discussions are good and necessary. But making comparisons with Cowboy Stadium is sheer stupidity.

From a fan who plays plenty of TAF dollars over the years and sees the same deficiencies continuously. BDS is a perfect example of a stadium that is making great strides in facility improvement whereas at LSU we replace windows & chain link fences. Go on and think that spending multimillions of windows was the best allocation of revenue for improvements at TS.

Two things that the fans have been screaming about for YEARS.

that spending multimillions of windows

Wasn't it like $2,000 per window ? Are there 1000+ windows ?

This windows were absolutely necessary IMO. But I think there should be others things done.

Look, it will costs tens of millions to bring the stadium up to date. Is this the economic environment to make that happen? I think there should be some tentative staged planning process to change the stadium but I'm realistic and I don't see it happening soon.

ETA: And "multimillions" on windows? Come one dude. Multiply 2 grand by "x windows" and you're talking about far less than your arbitrary number.

I was thinking this 100%...crazyyy I know we have tradition and what not, but we are WAYYYYY behind all the improvements that need to be made..we only hold 93-94,000?..we need to be well over 100,000..pitiful that we atleast dont have 1 upper in one of the endzones..plus we made a big deal over our big board we got a few years back..it's tiny..lol..but better than nothing

Why should we be over 100k if the demand isn't there? For the sake of being over 100? Dumb.

For medium size and big SEC games, the demand is there for 100,00.

For the big games only I would say. And I don't think that merits going over 100k because one game a year isn't going to justify that investment.
