Could we be looking at another LSU/Bama BCS title game?

If we win out, would a one loss Bama get in?

1 - Oregon loses to USC or Stanford
2 - Florida loses to LSU in sec champ
3 - K St loses to Tx Tech or West V
4 - Notre Dame loses to USC or Oklahoma

My assumption is that if a team in the sec has one loss and wins out, they are automatically in.

I think the voters will do everything they can to make sure that doesn't happen.

Hell no.

After all the crap the voters took last year? The first BCS NG with the lowest rating? And let's do it again? Hell no.

That said, let's take our games one game at a time and take care of our business.

Being in that stadium last night was awesome! I can imagine how it made the players feel.

Texas AM will be tough place to win after an emotional game vs SC.

When LSU beats TAM then it comes to down to the BAMA game.

every team would have to lose 2, maybe more.

You can assume this, but it's a bad assumption. Oregon, ND, and Kstate can all be undefeated at season's end. Two of those get in over a 1 loss sec team... unless that team is alabama.

What?

You can make a case for Oregon but still, it's not a given.

So ND will beat OU in Norman? That's who they play this week. I'm not an OU fan but I want to see them take that game and I think they will.

Kansas State plays West Virginia in Morgantown. They (KSU) beat an unranked team in Iowa State in Ames by a touchdown. West Virginia got their butts handed to them by an unranked Texas Tech team. They will be out for redemption.

I don't think Bama has the SOS this year to get back in if they lose to us. We're the only team on their schedule who can beat them. I don't see it happening if they lose their one real tough game.

That being said, Miss State always gives them hell and I consider that a quality win. But State isn't perceived as a big win from the national stand point.

agree with this. WVU just got embarrassed and will be out for blood against a *cough* *cough* Top 5 team. I think the hill people win in a game with 3,000 total yards and 200 points

Thanks. I couldn't remember off the top of my head if it was this week or next week.

BYU could do it, don't know to be honest. But it could happen.

Nah, Oregon State just destroyed this team. An upset is possible obviously but I wouldn't count on it. It's on par with like Bama losing against Tenn.

2 teams from the same conference that most of America hates? I think not. They don't want to the SEC win it all yet again. So I say no way if LSU wins out does Bama get even in the conversation...the one key thing here is we have to win out to even get a remote shot at the BCSCG. In order to that we have to play with the same 'our back is against the wall' intensity that they played with against SC and improve on the offensive execution. Without that we are dead in the water against Bama and don't count Mississippi State out either.

Possible, but there are a half dozen really good teams this year. Also, no one in the nation wants to see a rematch of the rematch.
