This is why I hate idiots on this board complaining just to complain. You are talking about a wide open check down on a play that was wide open for a TD but was a terrible throw. He shouldn't have checked down. He should have got the throw down and it was a TD. Perfect read.

Get off your fricking high horse you dick.

First of all, Dural was not wide open. He was out ahead of his defender but it still would have taken a perfectly placed through from Harris out in front of Dural.

Its 3rd down and 5. Jeter almost certainly gets the first down and gets LSU a fresh set of downs inside the 5 yard line. He opted for the more difficult throw, didn't make a good one and LSU settled for 3 points.

Harris is way too nervous. Why can't he just stand there like Drew Brees and either find somebody or throw it away?

Aka wide open. Didn't require a perfect throw, just one in his catch radius. BTW, LSU didn't get 3 points but why would you be correct about anything.

Yeah. I can't really tell what happens with all our QBs under Miles, but it seems like these guys get wound up real tight working for Miles and it effects how they play.

I think also that Harris is hearing conflicting things from Miles and Cameron. I don't think Miles can keep his hand out of things, and Harris' head is splitting and it leads to confusion.

I think Mett was able to tune Miles out in
'13 because he had been around enough to know what to listen to.

I think it'll be nice to have a head coach who is an OC and a QB coach. I think it'll be good for Brandon.

And for those that Harris can't be an elite QB, he has a couple of things that are elite:
1. Arm strength
2. Mobility

Can he develop into an elite QB under Jimbo? For sure. He's shown lots of development so far, which means he's very coachable. He seems very self-assured and intelligent in interviews. Look at Brandon Allen. I've seen him make some great throws this year and some piss poor throws, but he's still young.

Improved and serviceable, but not elite.

Why do you think LSU runs such a simple Offense? (The QB can't grasp much of CCC's playbook and execute it.)

They see him in practice and know what he's capable of.

Don't think our "Championship" QB is on the roster yet. (Maybe Etling)

If Jimbo is smart, he'll go after Big Patterson to get Little Patterson.................

Lol its like he walks on water...seriously. The soon to be former guy actually has a more impressive resume of developing qbs than fisher...but let me guess its cams fault Harris had very poor accuracy and struggled mightily with the 5 yard pass. I hope to god Harris can improve some but he has a LONG way to go and you guys would follow Jim Jones if you actually believe its all qb development. Seriously. Just because a kid played qb in high school and has a strong arm and some mobility does not mean he has ALL the tools. Jesus.

Lol. You are special. You have it all figured out. Les and cam did everything possible to hold BH back...lmao.

Wonder what happened to urban this year.. Remember last year he could take ANY qb and make them a great qb. This year having all of them back he couldn't take any of them and get one single qb. I wonder if other teams have film on each now and attack their weaknesses? Lol....

I'm not bashing. You have a bunch of pretty dumb people in here that keep saying Harris has all the tools. He has SRM strength and mobility. The most important skills he doesn't come close to having.

Just damn.

Matt Mauck couldn't read a defense, either. He was a pure, nothing but triple option QB in HS. Jimbo did pretty good work with him in a short span of time. As long as Harris is better than Marcus Randall, Jimbo would likely make something out of him. His track record speaks volumes about taking guys with average to above average ability and making the most of what they have.

No. Harris does not have the accuracy or timing to be an elite QB, and nothing Jimbo Fisher could do will change that. However, Harris could become an acceptable college QB with more coaching.
