I don't think anything was taken for granted. It is telling when a designated blitz is on multiple times, guy steps up to the gap, and neither the QB nor center or guard even notice the guy coming nor can change protection or the play or even call timeout knowing the play has no chance other than being negative. Multiple times. Plays w/o designated blitz the OL leaves guys totally untouched to double team a DL and their guy walks in. WTF are these guys being coached to do? I am tired of watching this shite over and over weekly when it should be very basic and second nature based upon the experience of Pocic and even Harris who has a better view. Does he need Cam out there holding his hand and pointing it out pre-snap? Does Harris even have the ability to check out of plays? Something is seriously f'd up and that is on Grimes, Cam, and Miles. The players bear responsibility as well.

You've seen the offensive line THIS BAD? With the exception of Alabama 2021?

Not expecting Wisconsin's defense to play as well as they did is one thing. A QB forgetting how to throw, punters how to punt, and linebackers how to tackle a running back is a very different thing.

Could we have taken ole miss, and arkansas for granted last year?? No Miles is getting worse and not adapting.

After what happened last year and having an entire offseason to showcase the team for a national audience in a historic venue, there is no excuse for it.

If it is true that Miles took Wisconsin for granted, even more reason to cut him loose.

This is what drives me crazy, it seems like every other team preps to beat their next opponent, looking for weaknesses to exploit on offense. Meanwhile, our coaches seem to just be prepping our offense to run the exact same things regardless of who we're playing.

Last season there was plenty of shitty OL play, even in the run up to 7-0, which was why many were not shocked by the November debacles. After the discussion on KJ last week and believing he should be serviceable he looked like he was from another planet in that game and totally clueless, but Clapp and Pocic weren't much better with much more experience.

No. He had 6 months to put in a new offense. He came out with an even more conservative offense than ever and it was as ineffective as ever.

The engine is running just fine

It looks like you were paying attention to the game and being somewhat objective. This is the defense that Aranda is implementing here. These guys have basically been marinating in it for 4 years now. They play disciplined and they play their lanes and allow the LB's to do a lot of the dirty work. Beigel is a guy that can start anyplace and TJ Watt looked pretty good as well. If you are breaking in new O linemen against a thinking defense, the offense is going to have problems.....especially if you have a guard playing at left tackle and you rotate them. There is no continuity.

He's an arrogant arse against every team he coaches. But, since he thinks he's untouchable, he doesn't really care one way or the other. He has a "want" to win, but if he doesn't and we get embarrassed and pissed off, then that works too. He's planning to be here until HE says he's ready to go. We need to make sure that doesn't happen.
