Could have been worse.

I would rather see us play Clemson in the Chicken Bowl than Nothern Illinois in the orange or Louisville in the Sugar. Would not have wasted money on tickets and travel for either of these teams.
That is the real travesty. At least we are playing a traditional football program and not the recipients of the current welfare system in CFB.

Why, you get the prestige, money, and exposure associated with a BCS Bowl AND a guaranteed victory. Sounds like a party.

Chicken Bowl is actually a nice bowl, I went in 2008. We are very fortunate.
Most of the rantards saying stupid shite have never been to it.

The payout is nice for the school. As a fan I'd rather see a good matchup.

The way the money is split up in the conference it doesn't make that much of a difference other than what the administration can spend on the trip for all of the entourage associated with the athletic department.

the way he stated the op was assuming we'd have another SEC team in those BCS bowls instead of NIU or Louisville. Another SEC BCS bowl game payout would be nice regardless if it's split.

i was there too. it sucks. the only point to these bowl games is the national exposure and no one watches this pos.
