Look, I fricking hate Alleva and believe he should be canned immediately, but I can't help but think about how things would be if Alleva would've went ahead and fired Les earlier and THEN got played by Sexton & Fisher following that. With no Les to fall back on, imagine how bad Alleva would've shite the bed if he couldn't get Jimbo.

It can always get worse. Keeping Miles was the best option with the least amount of consequences. He may shock the hell out of us next year, who knows.

Once Alleva had gone down that route, the only thing he could do was to fire Miles and look for someone else. He was at a point of no return. If he had hired the homeless guy at Circle K and he could have still had some respect left. Now he just looks like a moron.

Sticking with a coach who has guided us to two consecutive unranked seasons was the best option?

A lot of Ranters tonight seem thrilled with the program right now.

So stick with #14-30 because we're afraid it might get worse?

Well, when you take the coaches off the board that were clearly not a play at this point, who would you pick?

You are taking a chance on an unknown at some point. Going from a 3 loss season and good recruiting class for the next year to new face (and likely much less of a recruiting class) could be a colossal mistake. I still fail to see how firing a winning coach (even in his "slump") is still the best option.

I await to see the names you would pick for your hire.

Minus the disguise part, yes. Wins over Texas A&M are always good.

I think it comes down to the fact that the only guy they were willing to pay Les' ridiculous buyout for was Jimbo Fisher. When it was obvious that wasn't happening, they stuck with Les

I'd love to see the names. And who would want this job?

No he want. Nothing will change. We will run over the teams we are supposed to and have no answer defensively because Steele still sucks and the offense will get stuffed against the same teams plus a better Auburn defense. It will be as Booger McFarland said a plan A and no functioning plan B. Les has had what 4 or 5 different OC's and the offense is never better or different. And oh n his press conference he made it pretty clear not much will change regarding the offense. His contract runs through 2019.

It might get better too. Everyone thought this team would have 3 losses before the season and although it hasn't been pretty these last few weeks we're sitting here with 3 losses. An improvement from last year. At least give Les next year to prove himself

The last four years have been subpar considering the talent. #14,#14,unranked,unranked. Why does he deserve another year besides the financial aspect of a buyout?

Do you remember the amount of talent on that 2013 team that finished #14? LSU is already in the middle of a decline and you don't recognize it.

Could all of this be a blessing in disguise?

One day in late summer, an old farmer was working in his field with his old sick horse. The farmer felt compassion for the horse and desired to lift its burden. So he left his horse loose to go the mountains and live out the rest of its life.

Soon after, neighbors from the nearby village visited, offering their condolences and said, "What a shame. Now your only horse is gone. How unfortunate you are!. You must be very sad. How will you live, work the land, and prosper?" The farmer replied: "Who knows? We shall see".

Two days later the old horse came back now rejuvenated after meandering in the mountainsides while eating the wild grasses. He came back with twelve new younger and healthy horses which followed the old horse into the corral.
Word got out in the village of the old farmer's good fortune and it wasn't long before people stopped by to congratulate the farmer on his good luck. "How fortunate you are!" they exclaimed. You must be very happy!" Again, the farmer softly said, "Who knows? We shall see."

At daybreak on the next morning, the farmer's only son set off to attempt to train the new wild horses, but the farmer's son was thrown to the ground and broke his leg. One by one villagers arrived during the day to bemoan the farmer's latest misfortune. "Oh, what a tragedy! Your son won't be able to help you farm with a broken leg. You'll have to do all the work yourself, How will you survive? You must be very sad". they said. Calmly going about his usual business the farmer answered, "Who knows? We shall see"

Several days later a war broke out. The Emperor's men arrived in the village demanding that young men come with them to be conscripted into the Emperor's army. As it happened the farmer's son was deemed unfit because of his broken leg. "What very good fortune you have!!" the villagers exclaimed as their own young sons were marched away. "You must be very happy." "Who knows? We shall see!", replied the old farmer.

tl/dr: I honestly cant come up with a good enough bad thing to compare joe alleva to, he shouldn't be trusted to mop the floors at a peep show. He should be the next president of Mizzu.
