Cap One is a bowl that likes to keep fresh teams and no repeats. I doubt they take us. I see it as:

BCS c'ship - Auburn vs. Oregon

Sugar - Arkansas vs. Ohio State

Cap One - Bama vs. Michigan State

Outback - South Carolina vs. Penn State

Cotton - LSU vs. Texas A&M/Nebraska

Gator - Florida vs. West Virginia

Chick - Fil-A - Miss State vs. Florida State

Music City - Tennessee vs. NC State

Liberty - Georgia vs. Central Florida

Compass - Kentucky vs. USF

I'm calling for an SEC SWEEEEEEEP

Hell no. Our defense wouldn't know what to do with Taylor Martinez.

I agree, but I think Michigan State is crap. They needed a fake field goal to beat a shite Notre Dame squad at home.

South Carolina is going to get the Cap Bowl and LSU will likely get the Outback Bowl.

I heard that each school gets approximately 15,000 tickets, but the Aggies are scooping all of the available general admission seats.

Doesn't even the Chicken Sandwich Bowl pick before the Outback?

It would seem somewhat of a slap in the face to LSU if they fall all the way to the Outback Bowl.

The level of annoyance the ags put down at their games and the poor sight lines at the stadium in Arlington is quite enough for me to skip the cotton.

There is a good article in the advocate today about the bowl chances and ticket requests.

I agree 100% about the Ags, but the Cotton is the only bowl game I'd be able to make this year.

Due to finances and my job schedule, a trip to Orlando or Tampa isn't possible for me.

Dude south carolina is going to the sugar with a win or dropping down the bowl totem poll. They will not go to the Cap one with a loss. Bama, LSU, and Arky are all ranked higher and you don't jump teams when you lose.

Word of advice: if you want good seats do not buy from the school. They will be in the end zone or upper level. There will be plenty of tickets on ebay. Most of the good tickets are for the corporates sponsors. I got 4 club seats last year on the 45 for little less than face value while my buddies bought some of the allotment given to the school and sat in the end zone for more money.

I wonder why they got a bid before the Big 12 championship game is played?

Too late season ticket holders had to put in for tickets a few weeks ago. I'm wishing now I wouldn't have requested cotton bowl tickets if they may be upper level. There are plenty of lowers on ebay

Look, I'm going to be as honest as I can, even with myself.

This team, right now, with the present offensive staff and QB, along with the starting safeties( who are usually QB's on defense, i.e. Hunt and Steltz) will be better served to play aTm.

That makes sense. A better shot at an 11-win season sounds good to me, too. BUT, if we played State, it would be two top-10 teams and, as a result, we would get a lot more coverage/press for the game--especially if we won. So I dunno...

Not surprised but many SEC East fans are predicting a bad bowl season for the entire SEC.
