Ok LSU student section.... you guys are definitely some of th emost creative college sports fans out there. Let me tell you how weird this is. .....
I'm from India. Many years ago (before my family moved to the US and i started to bleed purple and gold) I actually got to meet the actor in the Kali Ma video...his name is Amrish Puri (if anyone cares) and he was known for playing villainous characters like this. I remember when Temple of Doom came out it was a huge hit! We always thought of Kali as the Goddess of death and destruction ....someone not to be messed with for sure.
Who knew then that something like this would come full circle and become a small part of LSU baseball culture...... its the coolest thing ever. Hope it scares the shite out of our opponents.

Apparently some SHS players thought they were doing voodoo. However the student section can coordinate the "Oh num shivie" chant at the same time, they should. Would be the single coolest thing I've ever seen at a baseball game. And why not show up IN COSTUME? Scare the F out of those Okies.

Im not a big fan of the whole nickname thing. I usually wonder WTF does LSU have to make every superstar a nickname.
But if LSU is chanting KAH LEE MAH on strike 2, that is fricking badass.

If LSU fans can produce a Honey Badger t-shirt, making this one has to be snap. Though I can just see the talking heads from ESPN trying to figure it out. They'd no doubt feel it was some kind of cajun chanting. And then there would be Hawthorne's attempt to explain it.
