I think RSs is worse.

could very well be these days, but basing off of strictly his high school tapes, and a combination of high school tapes and LSU game film for JJ, at least Shep would sometimes throw it to his receiver in stride. In high school, JJ made a living out of under-throwing Molten, then having Molten make a fantastic play to make him look good

In short, No. Long opinion below:

Dual threat QBs (as he was labeled) are not good enough at passing, moving the ball, making reads, quick progression, etc - you know being a QB!

So, recruiters come up with this wonderful title for those better athletes/runners (quick to run, have speed, etc.) playing QBs against undermanned high school defenses. I guess dual threat took the place of "option QBs." Neither work well against defenses with speed in the SEC.

What is this RS Freshman boo hooing about. Many off the arse clowns wanted Garrett to play this year and was dying to see him over two jrs. Now we almost don't have a choice with Bailey/Rivers in 2012 and people are flipping their shite. I remember when it was TC, then heavily it was CG, then just recently asshats wanted true freshman ZL to take the reign.

If you assholes were so desperate to play a RS freshman when we have 2 juniors QBs with about a year of experience each, then why all the whining now when we have no choice? You got exactly what u wanted, a redshirt freshman will start in 2012. Are you happy now?

When Sheppard was being recruited, what did most people want him to play? I seem to remember everyone talking about him at QB.

I hear that it would be more likely for Spencer Ware to convert to QB than Shepard.

all that i can remember is when Shep was signed he was signed as an athlete not QB so i don't think they were seriously thinking of him as QB from day one.
also thought i heard from a couple of reports last year that Shep couldnt understand the playbook good enough maybe he has it now.

and as far as the RS freshman comments .um i seem to remember up till lastnight hearing all the bullshite about Zach Lee starting over our towo upperclassmen so dont bring that shite about us starting a RS freshman. although its definantly not the best situation

I seem to remember only "TALK" of him getting a "SHOT" at QB. I don't think anyone thought of Shep as a QB only. He got his shot, as promised. Now, he's a WR/RB/Wildcat QB.

Randle Was a pretty darn good QB in his senior year of HS why not give him a chance
We did actually give jefferson a chance so what do we have to lose right??
