As must as I love Mett and all the passes, In our last 4 losses, 3 were games where we had more passing plays vs running plays called, only other since beginning last year (ole Miss)
2012 Run plays Pass plays
UF 21 29
Bama 45 39
Clem 19 29
2013
Ga 30 41

Our defense looks spent in big games (esp Clem) when we don't control clock by throwing more. They don't when we control the game

to be honest, our running game is not good enough to control the game at the end. why? we just can't make the yardage on the ground like we used to; at crunch time that is. i think our heralded OL just can't do that.

So no matter what, the offense costs us games, either by being not good enough or too good?

The only problem I see is that our run formations are obvious. Why not go 3 wide then run it sometimes. Seem like a freakin goal line stance when we run.

Brillant!!!!!!!, but hard to do with less than 100 yards rushing.

man, our d cant hold leads; that's what the dude is saying. how you can conclude he's critisizing the offense is beyond me. we are a big 12 team this year.

30 carries 100 yards, 3.33, would work all day long with my math

Yes, I agree, We don't hide the ball or our running plays, draws, or misdirection, everybody knows when we running, same play.

He's suggesting that our offense is too fast to rest our D. That's a poor excuse.

I'm glad we got Cam. I'd glad Mett is transformed to what we've needed for last 5 yrs.
It's more about game control/domination at the line. We don't do that jacking it up and scoring in 2-3 mins. The stats in the orig post aren't just a coincidence, it's almost every time we lose in last 10 years.
Pass happy sure is fun tho!!!

I'd rather win 9-6!!!!

The defense is spent because the coaches aren't rotating enough fresh players.

Miles alluded to this Monday

Freak and Ego play too much

Going 3 and out 9 times is what killed the tigers in the Clemson game.

Yes. Clearly that loss was the offense's fault

So you're basically just completely incapable of being happy. That's what you're saying with this thread.

Georgia's scoring drives took less time than ours, and they still managed to win.
