I just logged on to check out the board. Did a cursory check of the bitching and moaning threads. Good to know things haven't changed.

LSU, unfortunately, couldn't play the McNeese game, so they open with Miss. State. In spite of being a young team on the road in a tough place to play . . . and against a damned good opposing quarterback . . . they hang on and win. The first game kinks will be worked out.

And yet, things suck.

This site is nothing but a platform for people who hate Miles anymore. It's like they don't know Miles offensive strategy and all of the sudden he's turned into a spread, pass happy team. The Rant is that guy that's sits behind you in the stadium where LSU is up 28-0 in the 4th quarter and he's screaming for Miles to throw the ball and when he doesnt, he's screaming for Miles to be fired and he's an idiot.

The rant is "that guy."

There's never any respect/credit for the other team.

There's never consideration for what the team did well. Fournette ran like a Heisman, but all people care about is bitching about Miles.

The game wasn't the first game of the season with a young QB on the road in the SEC.

The only consideration is to appease their complaints and whining.

Move the frick on to next week you miserable mother frickers. Jesus christ.

I agree with your post

With that said, LSU should have won easily as we were with out question way more talented

It's amazing how games become close with LSU.

As a die hard fan, I want to see a beat down of opponents and actually enjoy victory, last night was "here we go again, cardiac football with a superior football team"

It's all about passing the ball and having big plays and scoring you know, more than 35 a game...

I pray Harris stays healthy and the coaches let him fling is much more...if we do, LF will have massive numbers

He had 158 yards with 10 men in the darn box half the night...that's crazy

Thank you, people act like miles will change because they bitch. Rantards rather LSU gain 500 yards and lose than win. Didn't expect a win last night and they got one. Win next week and you're 7-0 going to tuscaloosa.

5.4 yards a carry, 5.8 in the fourth quarter. Know what you do when you're gaining that much and you have a lead? RUN THE BALL.

MSU had the ball for 26 minutes. If LSU had passed more, MSU would have had the ball longer.

Thank goodness LSU ran the ball all night. It's the only reason the Tigers could overcome all the penalty yards and keep the win.

Which is exactly why I rarely come over here anymore. The place is full of jock wannabes who think they are brilliant when it comes to play calling and managing young athletes.

You're half right.

They want 500 yards passing, 300 yards rushing, AND they want the win or so help them god Miles has to go.

A tough place to play, really? There are probably 7-8 tougher places to play, just in the SEC alone.

The First game of the season is not an issue? No kinks whatsoever?

On the road anywhere in the SEC is easy? Against the best QB in the SEC?

It's the rant, right? There was no excuse for letting msu back in that game. Sure there were bad penalties, bad reffing.... There is no excuse for such conservative play calling. Throw the damn ball when they are consistently stacking 10 men in the damn box because they know what's coming. I'm glad we won, it shouldn't have come down to a missed field goal as time expired.

Seemed like a loud, hostile atmosphere to me. I thought Harris was poised and handled it very well. I liked what I saw.

All this was said last year against wiscy...and nothing changed throughout the year

What makes you think it'll change this year?
