I may root for UF because I think I'd prefer a rematch with then on a neutral field

I wouldn't blame you guys for thinking this way. Especially after the tigers recent experiences with rematches (and FWIW, I thought you guys should played Okie St last year in the NC game...)

Most likely my last post here for awhile. Good luck ya'll and see ya next year!

Good luck to you guys. But with all due respect, I would rather not give the Ole Ball Coach another shot. You got to love that guy. But if we see you again, then that's just the way it goes. For what is worth I still think that USCe just seems like a better team right now than the Gators. But that's why we play the games.

Living out here in UT, most of my friends pull for the Utes or BYU. I do however work with 2 other SEC fans, 1 Gator, and 1 LSU tiger. At the start of the season, I made a friendly "bet" with the LSU guy that the loser of our game would have to take the other out to lunch at the local Cajun restaurant. Given LSU's loss to Fla the week before (and getting ribbing from our Fla co-worker), and having him say to me all week that they were going to lose, I didn't bring up our "bet" last week.

When I went into his office to take my lumps this AM, and ask him when he wanted to go to lunch, he replied "did we bet on this game?". So we both agreed to call it off. I did, however, surrender two of my wife's homemade cookies to him as a consolation prize. He said we're now more than square!
