Two flawed teams; one of 'em had to win. Best of luck to your team next season.

It was obvious Iowa was outmatched and their offensive ineptitude showed this. Even with two gift calls it shouldn't have been that close. Give Iowa credit for playing hard and being scrappy but ferentz seems a little stale. Good luck to Iowa next season.

Thanks, Hawk. Your defense put up a valiant effort, no doubt about it. I was impressed by the way they hung in there, pretty much the entire game.

"Your DT was holding his effibg left knee and then when trainers came out it was his right."

See, that's because both knees were hurt, so he treated his own left knee while rolling on the ground, then the trainer only had to work on his right knee.

Nice picture of the score but that wasn't the final score.

Iowa offense looked injured the entire game.

Iowa football needs some athletes .

Not to forget the fumble that we recovered that was not forward progress by any stretch of the imagination. Iowa got so many calls their way that it's criminal they couldn't do better.

What's your QB situation? The first guy looked like a high school player. The 2nd guy showed poise and zipped the ball around accurately. He made plays.

With a big slow TB and a weak armed QB, you are going to find it hard to move the ball against LSU.

Im glad we won but I expected a bigger challenge from your run oriented offense, especially with Ego out.

Also noticed Johnson holding a different leg than they checked out But I think he was actually cramping in both legs. Good game Hawkeyes sloppy, but good

First of all I am not sure if either player was hurt or faking BUT I don't think we would pull a fake injury to stop an offense we stopped all day and I definitely don't think we'd use two of our best defensive players to do it...our best d-lineman and our best LB..who we need for the next play...that makes zero sense.

I said this earlier, but it bears repeating:

You're right. Our players "acting hurt" lost you the game. Not the offensive line shoving your disgustingly overrated DL around, or our defense smothering your terrible offense.

It was all on the players stopping that blazing up tempo attack that Iowa is so famous for, by pretending to be hurt.

Look at the recruiting guys, let's be real here. Kirk Ferentz is a great coach, baaaad recruiter. The officiating was bad both ways too, there should be no complaining from either side. You guys have waaaay more talent and waaaay more athletes.....duh.You give Kirk Ferentz your guys talent and he does way more with it.Hell you give us your backups and Kirk will turn them into NFL players. The reason the fans were booing is because every time we would get on a roll one of your fricking cry baby players would "get hurt" then be back on the field shortly after.Cmon that's bs and you f*ckers know it. Don't say it's smart it's f*ckin bush league. But good game and congrats you guys are a better team, but you guys could hand out some credit for a team full of 2* players. You are supposed to be better than us.
