This seems appropriate for this thread...we did an event yesterday and today just outside of Baton Rouge (central), where we usually raise money for our city, schools and veterans. Usually raise about 500,000. This year we brought in a teacher and lead educator from Moore OK., and gave them a 50,000 Check today(will be more later). Skip Bertman came by, the governor.. It was a cool deal. We brought the two teachers to the game tonight and they're in my families suite. They're die hard sooner fans, and I think one of the teachers wore purple tonight. Just thought I'd share. Oh.. And the veterans decided to give 50 % of their proceeds to Moore, also.

Gray was the best pitcher we've seen all year long. He's fricking legit.

Glad we got past him.

Y'all played your asses off man and I loved that.

That's great. I'm not from Oklahoma, but I have several classmates who were affected by the tornado in Moore. The support from y'all and everyone else in the country is very much appreciated.

OU/LSU will see each other again in the future. After Friday night's game, I can't wait.

Congrats on a fine season, OU. LSU was just too salty for y'all this weekend.

I trash a lot of the OU fan base but folks like the OP and some of the other fans on here (OG is another) are great to see. To them, I say congrats om a good series and a great season. We know that we'll see OU again.

After seeing the dog pile tonight I looked up Lane Mestepey on google. Saw a post that said you went to high school with him before Central Private.

Did you go to Central High? If so, what year did you graduate? I graduated from there in '99 and played a year of ball with Lane.
