Before I get to the confession itself, here is a confession about the confession - I am and have been a posi-tiger only in the sense that I support and have supported and will support LSU regardless of who the coach is. I'm not a "Miles can do no wrong" guy. But as long as he's coach I support him. And will support the next guy.

Now the confession:

- I am very much looking forward to some more open offense - some shotgun or a bit of pistol. Some spread. Something just a tad more exciting.

- I am very much looking forward to something more rhythmic from the offense. Kind of like you can hear the drumbeat from the band and the offense is in sync with it.

- I am very much looking forward to less fricking penalties - especially less of the unforced, self inflicted false start, delay of game type stuff. I can live with a d-lineman maybe getting there split second late and getting a PF or an o-lineman getting caught holding while trying to open up a larger hole for the RB.

That's my confession. Hope I get to see some of those things.

I am THE original Posi-Tiger. I was on the Les Bus before it arrived from Stillwater. I revere the man to this day. He is almost everything you want in a Coach.

I too fantasize about a day when 11 penalties are not the norm and a first down on third and seven is not the impossible dream. I too dream of a day when LSU puts away lesser teams early in the third quarter and continues to keep the pressure on and beats rather than "survives" our opponents. I long for a day when LSU has a balanced offense that can win games where it may actually have less talent than the other team.

I dream of the day when a first down marker on 3rd and long isn't a stop sign.

-I am looking forward to better player evaluation and development

-I am looking forward going through an off-season without arrests and players being dismissed from the program

-I am looking forward to recruits not shafting LSU on National Signing Day

-I am looking forward to players playing into their Senior seasons and not bolting for the NFL after year 3

-I am looking forward to finally putting the Saban comparisons to rest since the new coach will not follow his departure

-I am looking forward to an LSU fanbase that actually is willing to be realistic when it comes to understanding that a new system and staff will take time to implement

We need a better QB. My primary knock on miles and his staff is the inability to find a decent QB. You find the right guy at QB and a lot of the offensive woes go away.

But now we also have a defense that can't make a big play and get off the field. Hopefully that's more attributed to youth and not Steele. Not sure though.

Not to hard to find a QB. Go to Texas, plenty of kids in that state know how to run the spread offense, check off to a hot read and get the ball out quickly. LSU needs to stop going after these kids who have awesome stats, but all they did in High School was throw the ball up to a 6'4" receiver going up against a 5'7" cornerback. Cause when you get to the SEC, the Jump Ball technique will not work.
