CBS is supposed to be the only SEC game on during the 2:30 time slot. CBS wanted some goods if they were going to give up their right to the time slot. CBS probably said they wanted some LSU games later this season and there's nothing you can do about it.
This also means this game will not be on CBS like some people were speculating.
