Geez, yes we played sloppy, but we still had our chances to win on the road.

This team is still learning, and this was definitely a learning experience.

Turnovers, missed points in the paint, those two things cost us the game...not the coach or even an often poorly executed game.

Few turnovers can be fixed. And points in the paint have a much better chance of being made instead of missed three point shots.

This team will have some troubles, but say the team is awful and so is the coach is just being classless.

Go Tigers

Good teams make the tournament. This team is headed straight to the NIT unless they learn how to play offense.

LSU has a team, that Maryland or any other top 5 team is not going to want to see in the tourny. However until we get these fundamentals taken care of it won't matter. We will lose to the Houstons and the Charlestons of College basketball.

And those loses will keep us out of the tourney

I said this in another thread. If we are a bubble team, we will get in because the committee will want to see Ben Simmons in the NCAA tourny. For one year only we will get the benefit of the doubt. Now I think minimum we will need to go 12 and 6 in SEC play a maybe win a game or two in the SEC tourny for us to get that consideration.

I'm not implying that they are terrible teams, but we need those wins if we are going to ball in the field of 68. If we play the ball against SEC teams that we played against those two teams we are looking at 9-9 maybe 10-8. We won't sniff the NCAA

Dude you're a MO-RON!! If you can't see that after 4 years JJs players aren't well coached you never will.
We will lose at least once to Auburn, and BAMA and Arky. Our RPI is Godawful

I actually think we have a good shot at winning that game. We can get it together for A big game. it's the pedestrian games that kill us.

Correction! They would love to see us in the ncaa tourney. Word has gotten out that JJ can recruit but his team's are sloppy/ poorly trained. We are a bad team that plays well every once in awhile.

We are "good" right now. But because we were a "poor-to-middlin'" team pre-SEC schedule, our margin of error is very, very slim. We cannot afford to be losing games like we did today.

What's it matter if you have a good team but can't produce the wins?

And I like how people just assume that the NIT is an automatic lock.
