Just wanted to add that having fewer reps in practice sharpens the mind. Players know they have to get it right. This "simulated" pressure during week takes away some of the game pressure. Makes it more natural.
Combine that with fresher bodies and sharper minds, outcomes like the Missouri game become more probable.

If miles really run 80 plays per practice ~ 5 games per week, no wonder our team was flat
