2. Tiger Stadium, LSU

ne of the many impressive venues boasted by an even more impressive conference, LSU’s Tiger Stadium has it all. Its nickname, Death Valley, speaks for itself. It packs in 102,321 fans almost every game (or at least 100,000), and even more so, fans who are known across the nation as being ruthless supporters of the Tigers. Following the team moving into its current stadium in 1924, the Tigers have a 402-146-18 record at home — further evidence for the tenacity that Death Valley imposes on opposing teams. Though LSU hasn’t won a National Championship since 2007 — an impressive number for any other team in the country — Death Valley hasn’t lost its luster during that time.

Imagine what it would be if we actually played a quality out of conference opponent at home.

No, that venue is amazing. Pac12 tailgating is not in the same league as the SEC and the culture surrounding college football is a lot different out here.

That said, as far a the setting, it's hard to beat the Rose Bowl. Especially when the sun is setting over the mountains.

The stadium is meh, and the crowd is meh. The location and the weather is great, but that doesn't make a stadium.

Haven't won a NC title since '07? Lol that's not even a decade ago, not to mention we played in the title game in 2011. I found that funny.

Sorry that venue is not the best, being in the middle of neighborhood with only a few ways in and out is a nightmare. The tailgating is terrible on that golf course. The stadium is a shite hole. It is famous and iconic, but not an amazing venue.

The Rose Bowl is only #1 because of the Rose Bowl game. The regular season games are nothing special.

Ha Ha. They couldn't even get a pic of Ohio State. Had to use a photo from their bowl game.

. Me too. I thought that was an odd out of place comment. What's it got to do with the stadium? Besides like you say '07 was not that long ago.
