I guarantee he doesn't mention anything about the 3 TD's that LSU left on the field.

Definitely seems like they talk about Bama a whole lot more than LSU.

This puzzles me. LSU drove to the goal line in OT and set up a FG. I'm pretty sure if LSU is down 7, they try to punch it in.

It is a little strange. The only thing I can figure is that it hypes the game a little more. To many non-fans around the country (I've heard it a lot up here), this game seems strange since LSU has already beaten Alabama, so there is kind of a "why should I watch this game" feeling.

That's par for the course this season when it comes to ESPN talking about LSU and Bama. They always dedicate more time to Bama than LSU. It's not specific to this one game.

yep, to ESPN it makes a whole lot more sense to get the message across that
a) both these teams can score TDs
b) Bama can win

if the nation doesn't believe both of those things, why should they watch

The rest of the country still wants to see Oklahoma State especially after the Stanford game

they may be trying to talk bama up to justify them being in the game.

I guess so. It makes sense since the ESPN BS train is the reason that Bama's in the NCG anyways. I wouldn't expect them to change their tune now.

Part for the course is an understatement. It's to be expected.
The only radio commercial about the BCS game on ESPN radio since the end of the season mentions LSU twice -

The first time - "Can LSU finish thier season undefeated?" - Never mentions anything about winning a trophy or a championship, then suggests Bama is playing to avenge a loss, win a title and return this trophy thing to Tusk-a-looza.
Then has ONE and only ONE clip of game broadcast audioo and its just a douchebag saying "He's at the 10, the 5, TOUCHDOWN AL-AAAA-BAMAAAAAA".

Then they mention LSU again at the end when they say LSU vs Alabama coverage begins at blah blahtty blah.

Its so obvious and has been for so long its impossible not to notice and really hard to give a frick about anymore. You just sort of roll with it.
