@DellengerAdv The mark left on Andrew Stevenson's helmet by a 93 mph fastball Sunday. #LSU

I thought it hit on the underside by his neck. Still to damn close.

so I see some sky blue. did they paint sky blue over the purple for the game last week and then paint purple over that?

I thought it looked like the writing on the ball. The NCAA logo and Rawlings are written in blue I believe.

From the Kendall Rogers chat:
What do you think of this Nola vs Ellis matchup Thursday? Think the rebels can put up some runs on him? A lot of good lefties in that lineup

Guest, I think you have to be aggressive against Nola because he's going to light up the zone with strikes ... now whether or not you can hit those pitches is another story all together. I liked Ellis on Friday, and thought he had a quality curveball and changeup. Should be a terrific matchup.

If LSU wins the series this weekend against Ole Miss, do you see any other series that they might lose and can we just give Aaron Nola the pitcher of the year award now because HE IS JUST AMAZING and just keeps getting stronger every outing.

3:32 Donnell,
I actually like Ole Miss to win that series at home, but in the SEC, you can lose any series, so I hate to say they don't have a chance at all to lose a series the rest of the way. With that said, yes, Nola is the easy favorite for our Pitcher of the Year award, and something ridiculously surprising would have to happen for that to change. So calm, efficient and consistent. He's got it all.
