I don't know. I got hooked in college during the mid 90-s with LSU baseball. It seemed it was just fun to watch with the old power ball. Now it seems more like MLB low scoring games. I understand if it is us winning that it is fun no matter what but the home-runs made it different. I guess it is like watching an SEC matchup with two of the best low scoring defense football games if it is your team you like it but if it is another team it is more boring.

We did seem to score less runs towards the end of the year. We hardly ever tried to steal bases, bunt, hit and run after the midway point in the season. Then it completely vanished in post season. A great pitcher will not allow 3-4 hits, walks back to back and that is what we relied on to score runs. Just seemed like coach stopped playing aggressive and got to the point of looking like a big pussy in the CWS

The middle of the order stunk it up. 'Nuff said.
