Hey LSU fans, just wanted to give everyone a heads up that the cold weather makes Minute Maid feel alot colder, especially if the roof is closed.

For the most enjoyable experience, bring cold weather gear and bundle up.

There are NO heaters inside the Park.

There was a freak arctic blast the first weekend of April 2006 in Houston, temps outside were in the mid 30s, and it was balls cold inside MMP, even with the roof closed.

Friday night, temps will be in the low 40s, but temps should warm up on Saturday, but Sunday morning will be in the mid to upper 40s so I would definitely layer up. Don't forget to wear purple and gold on the outside though. Let 'em know you're there.

I was there that year in 2006 and I can confirm, it was ridiculously cold in MMP.

Believe me they are not going to spend money on this event when it's hard to even break even
get ready for outrageous parking and concessions as well
concession stand lines will be long

Yep. Typically they don't open every concession stand for this event. I can already see the countless threads bitching about long lines coming.

Another thing to keep in mind is that there are also openings in the roof even when it is closed, so depending on where you are sitting you could be getting a very cold draft from outside.

How about:

I was there today and I can confirm, with the roof closed, it was somewhere in the 30s or 40s. Felt a wind chill walking the main concourse which was weird
