This is what my preseason top 10 looks like

7 Ohio State

I think Ohio St and maybe Michigan will be above us. I think we come in around 7.

I agree. LSU has lost some of the "benefit of the doubt" they had a few years back. Michigan is the trendy team right now

I have no ties or care when it comes to Tennessee, but I would bet a lot of money that they a. beat bama this year (they have them at home), and b. win the East.
Do I think they should be a top 10 team right out the gates? No. 12-15 would be my placement...but they will work their way in the top 10 for sure.

Yeah I think Ohio State will be ahead of us. Michigan shouldn't be ahead of us, but I think they will anyway.

I am one as well that thinks that Tennessee will have a hell of a year and a lot like us if they don't win the East it will be a major disappointment.

Too simplistic.
Tennessee had Oklahoma beat but lost in OT.
Lost to Florida on the road on a fluke play.
Was leading Bama on the road late in the 4th quarter.
Lost by 4 to Arky.
Tennessee was good last year, just couldn't close. I think they make it happen this year.

If this comes down to ranked oppenants who did LSU beat? The only team that comes to mind is Florida.
