Three SEC west teams in the top 7.

I still think it should be Florida 1 and Bama 2 though.

I don't think it will happen, but I really hope UW gives USC and awesome game and then beats Cal.

Four teams in Top 7 - I like it!!

Yes, looks a bit high for LSU at this stage, but maybe Les and his boys will take it as a challenge instead of a compliment.

IMO, Houston got screwed. This team will beat a lot of teams this year and at least deserves to be ahead of OSU. Their Defense crumbled somewhat in the 2nd half, but OSU is talented and made their typical run of points as should have been expected.

we play 3 of the teams ranked ahead of uss, and yet still have to hear about a "weak out-of-conference schedule" from talking heads in college football.

I agree. No one should be ranked #1. We should just leave the top ten spots open and start with UF at #11.

Everyone I watched yesterday had faults. We are as deserving as anyone. Nothing homer about that. Who was perfect? USC? No. Alabama? No. Hell, even Florida took some time to get going.

Beating OSU on the road just doesn't mean much. What I took away from last night's game was that USC isn't all that good.

I'll take LSU playing up there last nite in front of 100,000+ and winning any day of the week as a pretty good statement.

I'm not sold on either one of those teams yet, but then I'm not sold on LSU either.

It's a long season and I think we all would be better off holding our water a tad before we proclaim anything, but each to our own.
