Also, maybe more unlikely, Will Muschamp.

I agree. LSU needs a coach that has NEVER been a HEAD Coach before. I love the rant. You people drink way too much......

Wait are you saying because Muschamp hasn't been a head coach, that he would be a terrible hire?? That's frikin stupid. Every head coach gets their job after taking coordinator jobs. Not to mention he was already a prominent coach at LSU for a few years.

And I love the vomiting pics... Yall bitch and complain all day long on this site about Miles, but moan and groan about everybody else too. Im sure you just want Saban right?? It aint happenin, get over it.

If by everyone else you are referring to Harbaugh, Peterson, Paul Johnson and Kelly, then you are wrong. We just tire of the same retreads being brought up as the savior - Gruden, Del Rio, Butch Davis, Applewhite, Muschamp, etc...

Give me a college head coach who has done more with less (see above) and conference records that improve from one year to the next.

Ok see that's where your wrong... I don't throw out names that we have no chance of landing. I'm realistic, you are in this mindset that you just want to handpick any coach from any school, and that doesn't happen! And NEVER did I mention Gruden, or Del Rio, or anyone else from the NFL. I also have NEVER seen people bring up Applewhite or Muschamp, so its not like everyone is talking about it. And since your so big on proven coaches, I'd say there is a pretty good record of guys who succeed at the smaller schools, don't have quite the same success with a traditionally strong program.

And on a side note, Muschamp has been a part of far bigger things than the coaches you mentioned, none of which have been part of a national championship teams.

So get your head out of your arse, stop being your own biggest fan. Im just throwing out different topics because the last 400 threads referred to how god awful Miles is....

I wish people would let this go, it's already known that he will take over for Mack Brown when he ascends to the AD slot probably within the next three years.

It is sad to say, but I must spend more time on this board as you because I see Muschamp and Applewhite mentioned all the time. I also left out Dooley in the retread roster. I do know that you only brought up Major and did not include the others I grouped in the retread category.

Well I do totally agree with you on Harbaugh. He's shown he can win big regular season games. Maybe not so much all the games they should win, but then again he is coaching with lesser talent. I also like Kelly but I think that we have no shot at landing him.

I agree that I'm tired of the conservatism!!! Most of the time I'm missing the days that we had a coach that was so aggressive and mad at stupid mistakes we would make!!!!

Anyways, to the point:

Jim Harbaugh because 1) I loved him when he was a Colt
2) Because he's worked with less and made it more

Haslitt - i may not like his prgram but his fire is way more intense than Saban's

I hear Bobby Bowden is available but he would need to lose the Panama Jack hat.

Let's get real. Miles leaves whether by choice or by force. Who is out there that is proven. Stoops: That would be great watching him scowl and cry like a baby every week. Carroll: Watching him groom himself every Saturday night. Muschamp: Doing spastic hand signs on the sideline. Let's get Weiss or Mangino and at least concession sales will skyrocket.
