I was melting with the rest of you but now have began to let the Hire sink in and be rational based on who our coach is vs who Les Miles was.

No way we will see as many stubborn bone headed plays under this regime that will have better assistants. Coach O seems to want to be the anti Miles.

Considering the success that Miles had, is it that far fetched that a coach like O will have success at LSU ?

Will be better coached, more unpredictable, with the same or more talent.

Why not man we ran i-form toss dive football for years with the run run pass punt method. Had a run with some of the most talent assembled then got beat 21-0.

That was true misery, we all despised Les.

A great OC & Aranda that O let's coach will be way better that what we got with Miles.

O is smart enough to understand what he doesn't know. Les was so hard headed he mettled in everything and would not let his great staff do their jobs. Big difference in the two.

Miles was a great coach until Alabama ruined him

As far as recruiting he needs to do better in some categorys. We need qbs and tackles. We could have had kelly at qb and c robinson at lt

I know we couldn't score vs Bama and didn't execute the last play vs FL but overall Coach O used the talent to do what we all thought we should've been doing and that's whooping everyone arse with these top recruiting classes. When's the last time we blew out

Arkansas, Ole Miss, & A&M in the same season. We should've beat FL by two TD'a.

Future is bright imho and I'm a pessimist.

O's new offense will be 150 yrds per game better than Miles' and we get to keep the same defense.\
That will win us 11 games - 10 at worst.
Plus it will be fun again.

I don't care if he is a Dline coach, He is better than what we had. If we had hired him last year, we would be sitting with 1 or 2 losses and playing bama in the SECCG.

TH is just the flavor of the week. The guy has never been to TS.

Howany wins does he have over top 25 opponents? How many teams have he built and maintained? He cNt carry Les Miles jock strap and couldn't stand Miles.

Did you not watch Ensminger and Aranda skullfrick everyone but Bama?? Without turnovers we would've beat Florida by 2 TDs.

This staff without Miles to begin the year would've been a 1 loss team.

I hope you're right, but there is not much evidence to support the better coaching opinion at this time.

Les Miles won with superior talent that he severely underutilized. Don't let your disdain for this hire make you forget it how unwatchable a Les Miles team was.

Don't downvote the post bc we didn't get Herman or fisher. O will do good enough with the program.

OT's, OG's and OC's that are SEC Championship caliber. Not on the roster currently.

QB's-Etling is "Good Enough" to win the SEC. Brennan coming in if he likes O and the new OC/QBC. Scott is an . High School production has absolutely no bearing on if he's an SEC caliber QB. If he can't throw the ball effectively, he'll be moved to WR in short order. McMilan- , but doubtful. Nobody else in the SEC recruited him. Desperation scholarship offer by Cam Cameron. Might also make a decent WR.

O just needs to just "Load Up" on OL's, LB's and more DL's that can make a difference in this program in the SEC. We've been too "Skill Position" heavy in recruiting in recent years.............

We need

We are firing Ensminger and I missed skullfricking any defense that had a pulse. What defense did we beat again?
