"Coaching is not about the mighty dollar. It is about teaching and putting young men in a position to succeed on and off the field. Success comes when all parties involved are moving in the same direction."

There's got to be more to that story. He had 12 million remaining on his contract. That's insanity. I wouldn't leave that amount of money on the table and you wouldn't either. O certainly won't.

Very honorable thing done by that coach.
However, IF the reports are correct that DaCoach O went to Alleva and F. King behind Miles' back with reports of problems in order to get this job, you can hardly expect the same thing from him...

Stop with this shite. At no point will O say "Sure, ill leave AND you don't have to pay me the exorbitant amount of money that will set up me and my family for the rest of our lives." You wouldn't do it if you quit your job, so why do you expect him to?

So I have seen this on tRant just a couple of times. What reports are you referring to?

All I have seen on this are (facially credible) posts on this site over the last three weeks.
I am very interested to know more about this, if there is any substance to it.
This scenario makes some sense to me in tying the events together of the last 18 mos., but I am no insider.
