Coach Miles was pissed off that we scored on the last drive

CLM wanted to kneel it on the last series, but was talked out of it. Then Guice broke the long run. Oops

I for the life of me do not understand why he is so against putting up quality points against an inferior opponent. We were running the ball with our true freshmen RB's on our own 30 for goodness sakes.

Sorry, no link.

I'm convinced that he likes playing weaker opponents close to keep the competitive drive alive in the players.

The quality chest bump he gave Guice says otherwise. Sorry, no link.

Nope. The rant tells me that Miles calls the plays. If he wanted it stopped he should have just not called the run to Guice.

In high school we were beating a team like 70 to nothing. We put the third string full back in at running back in an attempt to continue to run clock and not score then that dude broke one for like 80 yards. To me, that's the most mercy you should show to the other side. Put in your young guys. If their first string can't stop that, that's not your problem.

I guarantee in about 15 years we find out that CLM was a Pete Rose type gambler.

Suddenly a decade of LSU football would completely make sense.

Undefeated in his OOC games, what other sense needs to be made

Every team at every level struggles to get up for an inferior opponent

I had a coach call a fumble.

Man, I can totally believe this is true. We have taken a knee inside the opponent's red zone three times this year at the end of games. Had Guice been stopped short of the goal line, there isn't a doubt in my mind we would have gone victory formation. Its not what I'd do but I'm not the HBC of LSU.

Someone on the sideline that would most certainly know. Don't kill the messenger. Just relaying an interesting tidbit I was told.

Because he knows one day his team will be on the end of a blowout. And he wouldn't appreciate it if someone was trying to run it up on his team.

Just an FYI, not breaking balls

LSU is 4-3 against the spread.
