Coach Ensminger

If CMU comes in here and wins by a couple of TD's and team looks bad-if they decide to fire O, Steve Ensminger is really the only option to become interim coach. You are not going to let 1st year coordinators take the reins. Ensminger is very familiar with the program and is an experienced coach. He has connections all over he can bring in to help possibly save the season to a point...

season would be gone. he would fill in until repalacement hire is made. not sure he would even take it tho. he is only an analyst now and is not listed as with the 10 assistants

Like I said-interim coach and the extra money would not hurt him I am sure....He loves LSU and I think he would because of that alone!

May be because of Coach O....but he may be interested once O is gone!

Why would he come back as interim? The minute he doesn’t make every move perfectly, he would be hacked to pieces by this board again. Just as he was for the years that he was actually on staff.

If Orgeron losses either of these next 2 games against CMU or Miss State he’s gone or 2-3 of 4 of Auburn, Kentucky, Florida, Ole Miss. which is entirely possible as well.

Coach E isn’t an analyst….he isn’t even on staff at all! He does love LSU, but I’ll bet the only way he’d return to LSU is to first build his on staff—-meaning all new coaches.
