I can not for the life of me understand why so many of you are so adamant about getting a better OC. Dude has called really good games all along under O. I absolutely love the former Tiger's love for Offense and play calling.
He has established something here that I sincerely hope somehow can be built upon for next year. If he and O get the opportunity to continue their progress we are going to be incredible next year. Continuity is vital and it is real RIGHT NOW.

I also want to add what he has done with Etling. No one can deny the marked improvement in Etling - comes from Coaching. How many places would Etling be that good??? The touch on his throw to Dupre in the back of the end zone was a thing of beauty.

He's been good. That Florida game really soured a lot of people on him and O. It was Les Miles esque

More player miscues but it seemed like the offense was conservative the first half.

He could not adjust to good to great defenses. We were stonewalled against UF and 0 against Bama. Bad play-calling in large spells at the worst times possible.

I understand it wasn't his offense, but his play selection seemed to had gotten stale after Mizzou.

I agree with you. You can see the gradual improvement/growth of the offense since taking over as OC. People overlook the idea that he hasn't called plays in years and was starting with someone else's playbook.

As for the game against Florida, I have no complaints with the gameplan. We put up roughly 500 yards on the league's 3rd best defense. It was player execution that cost us that game. Several fluky plays that made all the difference. This last game was the best QB performance I've seen in years and etling's last drive against Florida shows he has grown up.

Whatever dude. They didn't execute the shite play calls in both losses. Steve has done a good job with what he was handed.

His red zone calls were tight and stubborn. He called runs into the teeth of the defense. They lacked imagination and mimicked Les Miles calls
