CLM wants LSU to buy out his contract-

I think he would get $2 million a year for approximately 7 years. Free to watch his daughter swim for UT, his son play for North Carolina, and the youngest play for LSU ??? All without listening to any shite...

I would want that too its actually the best going away present of all time.

Trust me when I say this, CLM wants to be the head coach of Louisiana State University. That's where his heart resides. Now if he's let go, then yes, who wouldn't want to have the free time to watch their children grow up.

Mack Brown and Phil Fulmer didn't want to get fired either, but I'll bet if you asked them, they'd tell you they're enjoying life without the pressure.

so he's negotiating a cheaper buyout for LSU in return for him announcing his retirement? Sounds like a good deal for LSU to me...

Only if his retirement is now and not at the end of 2016.

really? did he tell you that? did you make that up?
this post is a fricking joke unless you come up with some credentials. your way to old to be throwing out baseless rumors.

And he gets to watch LSU screw up the hire and laugh at TAF.

His team has quit on him. They won't produce for him next year....even at NextYearU.
You think it's bad now?
-Wait till he plays down to his competition...again. Wait for Jax State game.
-Wait until he gets outcoached by the other SEC coaches.
-His players knew his back was against the wall and got blown out in three games.
You think he wants to be here next year?

LSU could hire him to replace Jim Hawthorne.
How great would Les be as the voice of the Tigers. It would be very entertaining.

No way. If Miles wants LSU to buy out his contract and let him retire instead of being fired, he'll never see $2MM a year...no way in hell. They'll probably offer him something in the $5MM lump sum to walk and retire. If he's fired, he gets $15MM over 96 months. Obviously, we'd prefer him to take a lump sum and retire. It's in everyone's best interest that he retires with dignity.

it's only a couple mil less, and you have to think about the overall economic impact of Miles in a lame duck year vs. a new coach.
