Was he going to be a starter this year?

Really? He was our best D Lineman going into the season before the injury. He is going to make a HUGE difference in talent and especially in depth next year on a defense that is losing some elite guys to the NFL this draft.

CL's return is huge news. I figured that he was coming back.

Outstanding! Thank you young man!

Now please talk D. Godchaux into coming back for one more year!

He will be able to help out Gilmore and Alexander. Our 2017 D-line just got a whole helluva lot better.

We need a leader on the field like him next year, losing Adams, White, Neal and maybe Godchaux. This is huge.

Think Godchaux is gone, he will be a second round or early third round pick. Plus he has a kid.

Yeah, he's probably gone then. Having a kid complicates matters a lot. Mike D. has said that Godchaux could really improve his draft position if he came back one more year, but hell, if he gets drafted in the late second round or early third, that will still be pretty good money.
