We will know by season's end about the O regime. He is a loose cannon from what I can tell. It is a freaking mess! All on the BOT so far as I am concerned. Hiring a complete scum bag like Joe Alleva as AD was the problem.

Bottom line is that LSU does not have the money or the leadership to compete with schools like 'Bama, UF etc in the SEC. Unless and until that changes, LSU will never measure up. Never.

At this point, LSU would have to take a full step up to Dumpster Fire(tm).

very interesting. He claims to have recommended Nick Saban to LSU sounds like prior to Dinardo. Hmm.

frick. I'm either retarded or just plain forgetful but I feel like I remember LSU winning or making the NCAA Championship in 2003, 2007, and 2011. That doesn't seem like "never measure up" to me. But like I said, I may be retarded.

No, LSU has too many resources to not try to measure up.

I found it interesting that Landry said Curlgeron let Leonard do whatever he wanted last year and is letting Guice and Key do whatever they want this year and it is affecting the team. Their attitude is all about them and not LSU. It appears to be true and it it is true it is sad.

The podcast "The Rise and Fall of LSU Football" should be required listening for all Tiger fans.

Landry knows his stuff.

All that is left is for O to go ballistic on the team after a game and completely level whatever structure we have left... and it's coming.

Was a good listen. Landry somewhat blamed Miles for playing Alleva, which led to a big divide between them. However, he was critical of Alleva for making poor decisions and choices throughout his tenure (like leaking Miles” future ousting to a local reporter) and, more specifically, 2015 and 2016 with Miles/Herman/Jimbo/Orgeron

Most interesting part, perhaps, is Landry says Alleva’s ego got the best of him when he got played by Herman’s agent. He wanted to announce Orgeron before Texas announced Herman, presumably, in his mind, to get some sort of upper hand or satisfaction

It's hard for me to say LSU athletics is a dumpster fire when we have multiple teams going deep into post season and winning championships.

We owe Orgeron, Alleva, Miles and assistants more than $20 million in buyout money. Statement should be rewritten to say, NOW with the buyouts in place, LSU does not have the money...

Coach O, Alleva and company aren't GOING ANYWHERE... No one can afford to pay them off. All of this bitching and whining is just a waste of energy.

Alleva must go. I think anyone who was involved in hiring him should leave as well. It is always a lack of leadership and vision that leads to this sort of thing.
