The 1/9 melt was bad, but everybody was just demoralized.

That's a lie. This melt looks nothing like 1/9. The 1/9 melt was way, way, way worse.

This melt has more to do with a large segment of the fanbase being right about how incompetent O is.

A 30 point loss, most in series history is dildoish.

Being pissed off because of an historic loss not so much.

Accepting a 30 point loss as no biggie all will be ok is, well, where one could stick the dildo.

In terms of magnitude of melt in proportion to the loss? Not even close.

I was around too, man.

The best season of any team in college football history was flushed down the tubes with that pathetic performance. The melt was big.

This is a self-inflicted loss to a decent team(yeah an arse whooping) with a new staff and no depth. Pissed? Sure. This melt is way out of proportion though.

Nah not at all. In the context of why O was hired, which was mainly continuity, it is proportional. Other losses this season won't see this level of melt. But losing by 30 points to a team that we have historically dominated is reason enough for a melt, especially given the way we played.

I've been reading the rant for at least 8 yrs, and have never seen anything like this week.

In fairness. We have never had a HC this bad in that time frame.

Beating the frick out of BYU and whoever the other team was did not help LSU. They were overconfident and played as such. I've seen it in exery sport from pee wee level through the pros. Start white hot, get full of yourself, then comes the wake up call

They didn't even look that good vs BYU and Chatanooga. Couldn't say that a week ago without being ridiculed.
