Here's to the Big "E" for making it happen on Sat. night in Death Valley! You've taken a lot of bashing on the Rant over the years and it's good to see you getting some props. God Bless you for taking the Tigers to the next level. Keep it up!

BTW: Best play call I've seen in Tiger stadium by an opponent was AtM vs. LSU many years ago when you were offensive coordinator w Aggies. I think it was 3rd or 4th down in close game down the stretch. Draw play won the game for Texas A&M. Glad you're on OUR side....

He's a wise man. Didn't try to make any wholesale changes. Kept the same play calls that we've had and simply did a better job of putting those play calls to work. Combine that with a high energy guy like Coach O and significantly less practice time and you've got a team that executed to its highest level in years.

He called a great game Saturday. He took shots at the right time. He gave Etling throws that didn't require Tom Brady or Drew Brees accuracy. So many times on 3rd and 6ish they would ask Harris to hit a guy 15yds down the field on an out forcing him to throw into a small window.

CSE is not the dead weight people have always made him out to be. We have been looking for and OC for years and had one on the team the entire time. Les just never gave him the chance.

I will say two things about him:
1. I want to see how he does once teams have film on him at LSU to watch. And how he does when things are [not] all going LSU's way.

2. I love the play calling in the first game. I am not talking about individual plays in a vacuum. I am talking about: setting up plays off of the previous play. Running wide instead of straight up the gut every time. Utilizing a little misdirection such as faking the quick pitch before running the other direction. Taking shots but mostly utilizing the easy passes (short passes slants) etc etc.

What happened to all those snowflakes that wanted him fired? It's time for you people to show up and admit you were wrong.

I like his attitude as expressed by Coach O: "he wanted to score 60!". As well, Coach O said "I told him to keep the pedal to the metal & he agreed !" How many times has LSU come out & dominated the second half from the kick off on? When is the last time we had 3-4 drives of over 70 yrds? Same players, whole different philosophy.

Checking in with a thumbs up....
Would be a double thumbs up if he can figure some plays to get Guice and Fournette on the field at the same time....Maybe some mis-direction or a pass from one to the other. Would also like to see the wheel route more. Now lets go chomp dem Gators

Given the incredibly short amount of time the man had to prepare, I think he called an amazing game. Keep it up! Just gets more challenging from here on out.
