How well has Chavis' defense At Tenn. done against the Florida offense? I know Florida beat everyone pretty good but just wondering. UCLA tore him a new one in the season opener. UCLA sucks. His stats are always very good but stats can lie. Not hatin, just wondering.

Tenn's O didn't help him out the last few years. A lot of 3 and outs.

Can't really judge the Chief in those terms. There is no way on earth that he had the talent at UThug that he will have at LSU. Two totally different situations, IMO.

I could that happening as well. Did the Chavis D slow them down at all?

To answer the question Urban's offense has not done very well against Chavis' defense. I think I saw somewhere Tebow's worst 2 games have come against Tennessee.

People always say this. In 2001 the man had Albert Haynesworth, and John Henderson right next to each other, and couldn't stop LSU and the QB draw.

The question if more of a recent one-

Urban Myth didn't arrive down in Gainesfart until 2005, so I am thinking that year on, and no UThug has not had near the talent on the defensive side of the ball as LSU has had in that time frame. So, the OP's question to me is one that is not fair to judge the Chief by...

they've rolled out some impressive talent the last few years my friend

they JUST delivered the NFL DROY to the pats and have the best defensive player in CFB (maybe the best the past 5-7 years) on their team

SFP, Overall talent at every position

LSU over UThug.

Yes, the dumbarses in orange have had NFL players, but overall the Chief is gonna love the overall talent we will have at most every position he will coach.

Time will tell, SFP...time will tell.

All I can say is I am really excited to have a true DC at LSU that really understands what it is like week in and week out in the SEC, something we just did not have in 2008.
